Product · Comments
When someone comments on your Instagram or Facebook post, that’s them starting the conversation. So DM Handled replies — in your voice, right there in the thread — and takes it to a private message when what they asked is better handled in your DMs.
Most people never send a DM — they comment. DM Handled reads what they actually asked and replies in the thread, in your voice. When the answer is better handled privately — a size, an order, a booking, anything personal — it continues in a direct message, where the same agent qualifies, books, and hands over to you the moment a person is needed.
Nothing here changes the one promise the whole product is built on: we never start a conversation. A DM is someone reaching out to you; a comment is too. When they do, we reply — in the thread, or by a private message when it fits — and it is always initiated by them.
Start a conversation. Message a stranger who did nothing. Cold-DM your followers. Fire identical replies at machine speed. Touch the Human Agent tag. Drive a logged-in browser session.
Reply to people who came to you — whether they sent a DM or left a comment — using Meta’s own official tools. A comment can be answered in the thread, or with the single private reply Meta allows to someone who commented. Their move first, every time.
What keeps it safe
A real question gets a reply. A bare emoji or a one-word “🔥” doesn’t, and a complaint or a refund is handed to you — never answered automatically in public.
Each comment is answered a single time, inside Meta’s window, at the same throttled rate as your DMs — never a wall of repeated replies, the thing that actually gets pages flagged.
Comment replies are per account — leave them on to catch every lead, or off to keep DM Handled to your inbox alone. Your DMs are unaffected either way.
Questions
Whichever fits what they asked. A general question is answered right in the thread; anything that needs personal details, a size, an order or a booking moves to a private message, where the full agent carries it on. It only ever moves to a DM in reply to someone who commented — never out of the blue.
Yes, for the same reason the rest of the product is: it only ever replies to someone who came to you first — and a comment is them coming to you. It uses Meta’s official tools rather than a logged-in browser session, and writes fresh, throttled replies. See the compliance page.
Instagram and Facebook posts. WhatsApp has no public comments, so there it’s your DMs, the same as always.
Yes — the disclosure is on the first thing they see, wherever it answers, in wording you write. That’s the EU AI Act, and it’s not something you can switch off.
See exactly what it would reply — in the thread and in DMs — before it answers anyone.
