Page messages, comment-started conversations and Click-to-Messenger ads all land in one inbox, answered inside your own voice and inside Meta's rules for doing it automatically.
Anyone who messages your Page — directly, from a comment, or by clicking a Click-to-Messenger ad — gets a real answer to the real question, not a canned reply matched against a keyword. It reads your knowledge base first, and it says so honestly when something is outside what you've told it.
Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs both run on Meta's Graph API, and DM Handled treats them the same way: it can only reply to someone who wrote first, it never uses the Human Agent tag reserved for real people, and it never automates the app through a logged-in browser session. The full reasoning is on the compliance & guardrails page.
Questions
No. It only replies once someone has messaged you — commenting alone doesn't open a conversation. A Click-to-Messenger ad that a person actually taps into does, because that is the person starting the conversation.
Each connected Page is its own account inside DM Handled, with its own knowledge and voice — see pricing for what each plan includes.
